    Default Pellet skirt damage

Was trying some Daystate pellets over the chrono today and thought I might just try someting out.I have more than once been involved in a discussion at the range as to what efect a damaged pellet skirt has.So I took a few Air Arms Fields and flattened the skirt half way.The chrono jumped from 780fps to 740 fps each time .I dont know what efect that would have at long range but at 17m it does npt change poi .

In the days that I had time to sort my pellets I used to take the damaged ones and use them for pigeon shooting where a few mm wont make that big differance.
