    Default What's Your Grouping Like?

I've been practicing quite a bit recently from 30 yards at a basic paper target, trying to improve on my grouping in a typical FT sitting position. I would like to know what sort of group size (5 shot, center to center) would be typical for a top FT shooter. Maybe some guys who went to the worlds could comment? I guess that doing well in FT is a combination of many things, but I doubt one would do well if you can't shoot consistently...

Maybe everyone can post their typical 5 shot group size at 30 yards? And thats average, not best, cause we all get lucky sometimes
    I'll start:
    5 groups of 5 shots at 30 yards = 15mm

10-15mm is probably my best from a FT position. Sitting at the bench I can reduce that by a little bit.

Tried to sight my new rifle in the wind yesterday, but it proved to be a fruitless operation. Best grouping I could get in the WIND was 22mm from FT position. Paul get to know where your rifle shoots at what distance and you will instantly become a better H and Ft shooter.

    Oh stop blaming the wind!

    I know you can do one-holers with a S410.
