Default Decent airguns in the R1500-R2500 price range

What decent guns are there in the R1500-R2500 price range.
A lot of people ask me this before and I always say that I will try to get the info. I will probably see a few of em tonight, so will like to give em a few answers.

We are talking about guys who want to be able to hit a target, the size of a mossie, at about 30m and maybe shoot the odd rat, pigeon, etc.

Hitting 1 hole groupings at 30m is NOT a requirement. The main criteria is decent accuracy, adequate power and reliability.

Everyone knows about the Gamo?s, and some of you are obviously not impressed.
Warrick seems very happy and told me a fair bit about the QB78/79.
Anything else you guys can add to this list or recommend?

Just our 2c worth. The SA schools champs. all use Gamo,s in the springer class. They are restricted to R2000-oo purchase price. They have found that for the price nothing beats Gamo.

Ferrari!! Porce is a much better proposition, it was proven the other day by two of my clients.
BSA is great, always was and would probably always be.
