    i think it's the diana model 54 air king.....it's got counter pistons/weights that cancels out the felt recoil.

    the gas rams have different recoil characteristics......i've only shot the HW90. the recoil is shorter and quicker.

    imho, can't go wrong with the HW97K or TX200 MK3/HC.....

    SR = Semi Recoiless.
    I have the HW90 in .22. It kicks like a mule!! Broke a scope and 2 mounts.

    How much do you want to spend?

    Spyker,

    Ha-ha, ja, my HW90 (Beeman) in 0.20 can't live without its scope-stop...
    But, I'm a bit worried if you say you've broken a scope on it. What was it? Mine's a Nikko Stirling Gold Crown. Should I be worried?

    Allan,

    Urabus has an idea on the Diana 54 Airking - it is totally recoilless (claimed), but major complaint on it worldwide is short spring life. I wanted to get one, but that alone put me off.
    Spyker's idea on Weihrauch HW97K is good, but the TX200 is also great.

    Anything else has fair to heavy recoil.

    Hi Allan, the Diana 54 is semi recoilless. It works on two guide rods and sledges backwards on firing. I can get prices on the Diana's for you. BIG TIP, if you want low recoil don't go for high power, a rifle running at the FT power limit will give less recoil and better accuracy than the 1000fps jobs stick to below 850fps (advertised speed) and you will be allright.

    Although the TX200SR is termed as semi-recoilless, if you try out a properly set up example you would be hard pressed to detect any recoil. You are aware that something is going on when you fire it, but you could not really call it recoil.

    Warrick is absolutely spot on in his comments though if you want low recoil then stick with a lower power output - particularly in .177.

    The HW95K is a cracking little rifle especially if given a little bit of tuning. The Theoben gas ram rifles (and Hw90's) are also extremely nice at 12Ft.lb levels.
