If you are going dial in I will vote: "Target Dot" 1st then "Fine Duplex" (for hunting I need "Mill Dots" is a must)

For general purpose use the fine duplex is the best.

sorry i meant general "Target" shooting.
ie. mostly for M/S, maybe some light-hearted bench rest, FT
    and most definitely back-yard plinking....etc

either way, i think i will go for the duplex.....

I prefer the fine duplex. It's difficult to see the target dot in low light conditions because of the absence of the posts.

I never understood the use for the target dot as it covers the target. Fine duplex is best.
