    hi

    i need some advice, i have purchased a sling and swivels. i have seen some rifles with the swivels on the front of the rifle and some on the underneeth of the rifle.

    also how far shuld it be from the front and back before it looks ugly and nulls its use???? :awais :awais

    Just make sure you take the stock off before you bring the drill anywhere near the rifle. Too many people has drilled through the air cylinder by mistake.

    Personal preferance is 90% of the placement.

    2 to 2.5 inches from the butt pad for the rear swivel
    13 to 17 inches from the trigger for the front swivel

    thanks guys,Guido any technical reasons for this?

    it cost me R110 for the swivels and R80 for the Leather sling.

    Make sure it is not to close to the front, so that you can still fit a bipod later if you want.

    Im with Arnold on this .A bipod is your next step.Magic to benchrest the rifle for sighting.Guido brings in some well priced bipods.
