Errol , I have not got a lot out of Chairgun. It is a good tool to get you in the right ballpark though. If you want it to be accurate you need to put in a fair bit of info.

Chairgun is brilliant, but nothing replace actual shooting!

For what its worth, ballistic programs do have a place.

That place, as far as I am concerned, is in respect of centre-fire rifles where ammunition is expensive and places to shoot safely at all distances and angles are not readily available.

With airguns given the low cost of ammo and the availability of suitable shooting areas, the value of such a program is limited.

Besides I thought the whole point of buying an air rifle was to get out and shoot the bloody thing, not sit in front of the computer for even longer!!

After setting up Chairgun correctly, it was only 4mm out at 50m with my AA10. Not bad for a computer program!

Eish, 4mm.... I think I should start using Chairgun. I'm one hell of a lot more out than 4mm RIGHT NOW. Didn't know software could help improve where I point the damn gun!

(tongue in cheek, for those who missed it :-))
